Quality Care for NDIS participants :
We at BSCS monitor the quality performance of our staff and advocate for our clients to the government agencies such as NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (the NDIS Commission) or the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We achieve this by employing experts in the areas of care and making sure that their work is reported so that we have a clear understanding of what is happening in the client’s homes.
The rights for NDIS participants :
We at BSCS make sure that every NDIS participant is treated with dignity and respect to reinforce their right to feel safe in their homes or in their communities ro be able to live without abuse and neglect. We strongly encourage everyone of our clients to take control and make choices about their care and make decisions about their social life as well as their personal choices for their daily life, financial affairs and possessions.
Health and wellbeing for NDIS participants :
We at BSCS take seriously the Health and Wellbeing of NDIS participants. We understand the role of medication management in improving the overall health and wellbeing of individuals, especiallyNDIS participants and that is why our team of support includes trained staff in medication management to make sure that our clients get the best results possible out of their medications. We also understand the role of eating the food that our clients enjoy and therefore we reserve their right to make the call of what to include into their menu.
Safety in the care of NDIS participants :
NDIS participants have the right to feel safe and live dignified and self-determined lives free from exploitation, violence and abuse. As a person who receives NDIS support, you have the right to feel safe and have quality care.
We, at BSCS, take seriously the safety and quality of life of NDIS participants that are under our care. Our team aims at providing safe and responsible care to NDIS participants that we are untrusted with and we make every effort to prevent any incident that might disrupt the safety of our clients.
